Young and Wise vs. Old and Stupid

Being young and wise is just as heartbreaking as being old and stupid. Being young and wise means you’ve been through so much at such a young age, it means you’ve seen too much. It means you’ve hurt too much. It means you’ve experienced too much for your age. It means you’ve had a hard life. On the other hand, being old and stupid is heartbreaking as well. That means that you haven’t experienced enough. You haven’t learned enough. Haven’t done enough. Haven’t made enough mistakes. Mistakes are what makes for good stories. Make too many and you are wise, make too few and you are stupid. Would you rather be young and wise, or old and stupid?
